Tushar Sabale Workshop

“ Landscapes”

Tushar Sabale is an award winning Indian born, British artist based in London. He mainly paints ‘en plein air’ in oils, but also enjoys painting still life, portraits and landscapes. 

In 2023, Tushar appeared on ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’- Series 8 as one of the Pod artists. It was filmed at Royal Ascot and aired on Sky Arts on 8 February 2023. He was one of the top 3 shortlisted artists. 

Tushar has won many National and International awards for his paintings. He was recently awarded ‘Green & Stone Award’ of £10000, a fully funded solo show and the prestigious ‘Cadogan Award’ at the Chelsea Art Society. 

Tushar regularly exhibits his works in Mall Galleries for the Federation of British Artists at The NEAC (New English Art Club) and RSMA (Royal Society of Marine Artists) and ING Discerning Eye

Subject : Landscape - please bring your own reference picture . Choose a photo/picture that you love . 

 

Timetable : Introduction by Tushar; Demonstration; WAC members to paint with individual attention by Tushar;  final critique.

 

Refreshments : Please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee will be provided. We will break at lunchtime and also a very short break mid morning and afternoon to stretch our legs.

 

Cost:    £35 for WAC members

The deadline for WAC members to sign up and pay is Thursday 18 April please. 

 

We do expect this workshop to be popular so places reserved on a “first come / first served with payment”  process. 

On 19th April, if there are any places left we will open to non members at a small additional premium . 

The club needs to cover artist and hall hire so essential costs are covered hence the deadline.

 

All WAC members are welcome to sign up for this workshop; the emphasis being a fun day in a supportive environment with a professional experienced artist guiding us.
